What’s involved in Fluidform Training?

First time instructor?

There are 5 workshops in the Reformer Training that you must complete in order to become a qualified instructor.

Already an instructor?

If you have already completed your Reformer training elsewhere, these individual workshops can help expand your knowledge and expertise. Pick and choose which workshop interests you and complete them in your own time.

How long will it take to complete?

Each reformer workshop should take you approximately 6-8 weeks to complete. This includes your online theory component, self-mastery practice, observation, assessment and teaching hours.

What do I need?

  • Access to a Reformer for your own self-mastery, teaching practice and assessment.
  • Access to Fluidform at Home, contributing to your self-mastery and observation hours.

How do I prepare?

You can prepare for the Reformer training by reading your Reformer handbook, familiarising yourself with the structure and contents of the course. Immerse yourself in the world of Fluidform by completing our Fluidform At Home workouts, getting an understanding of our terminology, practice and how your principal instructor, Kirsten structures her workouts.

Start with our 21 day Reformer 8.0 Challenge. This challenge will work your total body with emphasis on coordination and strength. You will utilise equipment such Ankle Weights, Hand Weights, Reformer, Reformer Box and Small Ball. A perfect way to get your own body and mind ready for the course!

The best way to learn is to get yourself on the Reformer and practice, attend different Reformer classes and get a feel of the machine and what you would like to see in your own classes! Every instructor brings something new and exciting to the industry! Start finding out what yours is!
