Your Role

You will have responsibility for the management and development of the entire organisation, on a national and global scale, including studio franchises, head office staff and our growing network of personal movement consultants. Enjoying a collaborative culture that empowers your success.

Reporting to the Founder / CEO you will lead the development and execution of the business model, defining the organisation’s long-term strategic direction to elevate the prominence of our personal movement services and products while preserving local origins and values. Your role includes the comprehensive oversight of market operations with a primary focus on achieving targets and ensuring sustainable, profitable growth.

Business, Brand and Operations 

  • Devise a comprehensive 3 year business plan and detailed market strategies encompassing brand development and expansion.
  • Take ownership of all aspects of the Profit and Loss statement, ensuring its successful delivery.
  • Spearhead the technical roadmap for the business and manage external service providers.
  • Develop sales and marketing initiatives consistent with the global brand DNA that drive customer engagement, brand awareness and deliver market share growth.
  • Ensure effective management systems are in place to enable team-ship and high quality performance.
  • Take on the pivotal responsibility of daily business operations by executing strategic plans and leveraging your skills in strategic leadership and team management.
  • Facilitate collaborative partnerships and develop comprehensive joint business plans with commercial partners and franchise owners in national and international regions.
  • Leverage business insights to effectively influence opportunities for brand development.
  • Manage reporting across companywide KPIs inclusive of franchise operations, profitability and EBITDA targets.

People and Leadership

  • Lead and motivate the entire organisation to deliver sales and profit objectives.
  • Take ownership and evolve the organisational design and establish resourcing needs to ensure the team is set up to deliver the strategic objectives of sustainable profitable growth.
  • Implement the appropriate employee engagement strategy for the entire business that enables Fluidform as a “Great Place To Work”.
  • Shape, lead, and cultivate management teams, including franchisees, fostering a culture of team performance centred around customer satisfaction and brand excellence.
  • Drive on-going performance management and team development across initiatives including; skills and competency assessments, training, coaching and mentoring, career pathing plans.

Essential Skills

  • Experienced General Manager, skilled in strategic planning with a proven track record in leading prestigious brands within Sales & Marketing, overseeing multi-functional reports.
  • Successful in driving organisational growth, optimising business and operating models, and innovating digital services and product portfolios.
  • Expertise in developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies, expanding customer bases, channel growth, and accelerating franchise expansion.
  • Proficient in financial management, including Profit and Loss, cost analysis, budgeting, and fiscal management.
  • Demonstrates exceptional analytical, communication, and presentation skills with a focus on enhancing profitability, optimising resources, and prioritising customer satisfaction.
  • Deep understanding of the digital landscape and a history of introducing new technologies to the market.
  • Previous experience with franchise business models is advantageous.
  • Skilled in regulatory, governance, and risk management.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and consensus-building skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and internationally to achieve business objectives.
  • Experienced in talent management, including hiring and development.
  • Leadership role shaping, motivating, and developing the capability of teams.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management.
  • Master’s Degree in Marketing / Finance / Business Administration will be preferred.
  • 5 years working in a Branded Sales & Marketing environment.
  • 5 years in a General Manager or similar Consulting role.
