Fluidform is a movement method created to build strength and confidence of people around the world. Based on 20 years experience, the Fluidform method is functional and effective, designed to create change in all bodies from beginners to professional athletes, injury rehabilitation and pre & postnatal mothers.

Fluidform Training is a complete training course, teaching the Fluidform method to aspiring instructors and movement professionals. This is a unique opportunity to learn the Fluidform Way, do something you love everyday and create meaningful change to your clients and community.

To be a great teacher and make meaningful change, you need to teach the body in front of you, understand their individual needs and program accordingly. Every client should leave feeling physically and mentally stronger. Learn the Fluidform Way and together we can make a positive impact on the health and wellbeing of clients around the world.

When you graduate from this course, you will have a comprehensive understanding of the Fluidform method and have the confidence to teach the Fluidform way.

How do I start my Fluidform training journey?

The first step to becoming a Fluidform instructor is joining our training community. Sign up to our email database at the bottom of the Homepage and become a member of our private Facebook group to receive workshop updates and announcements.

Select from our range of options:

  1. Workshop One: Fluidform Fundamentals. This is the first Fluidform Training workshop and a prerequisite to all future workshops. Workshop One is available to purchase individually, or as a package of three or five workshops. The Fluidform Fundamentals are core to our teaching practices. They are unique to Fluidform, and shape our entire programming.
  2. Fluidform Fundamentals, Layering & Programming. This package includes the first three workshops under Fluidform Training. This package will provide a comprehensive understanding of the Fluidform fundamental movements, how to teach them, how to layer them and how to program them to each individual client.
  3. Fluidform Matwork Course. This is your complete Fluidform matwork repertoire, consisting of five workshops: Fluidform Fundamentals, Fluidform Layering, Fluidform Programming, Small Equipment and Pre & Postnatal. This is an all-encompassing training course, guiding you through a complete Fluidform Training experience to become a qualified instructor and pursue a career in functional movement.

Workshop One: Fluidform Fundamentals

Is available to purchase and accepting enrollments for first intake commencing August 15th.

This workshop will introduce you to the Fluidform Fundamental movements, what they are, why we teach them and how to teach them. You will learn each focus muscle group, correct positioning and how to identify correct and incorrect movements. The online component of this workshop will go through each position and movement from setup through to execution, identifying the common errors in each.

When you graduate from this workshop, you will confidently:

  • Understand the correct setup positions for each of the fundamental movements.
  • Teach and cue each of the fundamental movements.
  • Identify correct and incorrect positions and movements.
  • Understand the importance of hands on cues to ensure your client achieves the most out of every movement.

This workshop requires you to complete a combination of self-mastery, observation and teaching hours to further enhance your understanding of the Fluidform Way.

  • Self-mastery: 25 hours
  • Observation: 10 hours
  • Teaching: 30 hours

As part of this workshop you will receive a Fluidform Fundamentals manual. This is a digital manual to support your online training tutorials. Printing of the manual is optional, and to be organised by the student.

At the completion of this workshop, there will be a combination of written and practical assessments.

Kirsten King, the founder and principal instructor of Fluidform is a passionate advocate for the functional and aesthetic benefits that movement can bring to the human form.

With over 20 years experience operating Fluidform studios in Sydney, along with her global Fluidform online platform, witnessing the progress and change in clients has been truly inspiring. Kirsten wants to share this experience and to continue to spread the Fluidform method across the globe. Her style of Pilates is unique, functional and achievable to all. Her training is practical and considered, designed to share her knowledge and train you as an advocate and teacher of the Fluidform way.

As part of the Fluidform Training courses, you will have direct access to Kirsten to learn from her and experience her teaching method. This will be delivered through a combination of online tutorials and live sessions.

Do I need to be based in Sydney or have access to Fluidform studios?

No! This is an online training program, accessible to all aspiring teachers and movement professionals, anywhere in the world. The training course combines online tutorials, live sessions and self-mastery hours via Fluidform at Home to evolve your learning experience.
