Personalised Programs

Every client undergoes an individual assessment to ensure exercises are tailored to their injury history, movement patterns, and rehabilitation goals. We follow physiotherapy guidance closely and adapt programs as recovery progresses.

Hands-On Approach

Our instructors provide close supervision and tactile cueing where appropriate, ensuring correct technique, optimal muscle activation, and reduced risk of injury.

Expert-Led Programming

All sessions are guided by highly trained instructors experienced in working with rehabilitation clients, including those recovering from injuries, post-operative procedures, chronic pain conditions, and postural misalignment. Our team’s experience supporting professional sporting teams further strengthens our ability to manage complex needs.

Supporting Rehabilitation Outcomes

Pilates is widely recognised as an effective complement to physiotherapy, offering benefits such as:

  • Improved core strength and spinal stability
  • Enhanced movement control and body awareness
  • Increased flexibility and joint mobility
  • Reduced risk of re-injury through progressive strengthening
  • Support for postural correction and functional movement patterns
  • Safe transition from treatment to independent exercise
  • Graduated return to sport and higher-level physical activity

Fluidform Pilates values collaborative relationships with local physiotherapy practices. We welcome communication regarding patient goals, precautions, and progress, and are committed to providing feedback where appropriate to support continuity of care. Our goal is to become a trusted extension of your rehabilitation pathway, helping patients maintain progress, build resilience, and return to optimal function safely and confidently.

We would love the opportunity to connect with local physiotherapy teams, discuss referral pathways, and explore how we can support your patients’ ongoing rehabilitation journey.

Fluidform founder Kirsten King’s experience working alongside physiotherapists and allied health teams, including supporting athletes and working with professional sporting teams, provides a strong foundation in injury management, return-to-sport preparation, and performance-focused rehabilitation.

Client Testimonials

"The difference to my body and my life is immeasurable"

I have been attending Fluidform Surry Hills for a few years now, mainly as prehab, to strengthen before my total knee replacement and now as rehab. Of all the many forms of rehab I did, FF gave me the most rewarding results. The knowledge, communication and dedication of Kee and all the team at Surry Hills was exceptional. With specific focus on muscle groups that needed attention, accompanied by explanation I could understand, while always addressing the whole body and the bonus of mental the health benefits, have given me the results I was hoping for after major surgery. I honestly can't thank everyone enough. The difference to my body and my life is immeasurable, I am so grateful I was introduced to Fluidform!

"What I’ve achieved here has exceeded all expectations"

After sustaining a spinal cord injury and spending years in rehabilitation, I came to Fluidform hoping to continue my recovery. What I’ve achieved here has exceeded all expectations. When I started, I didn’t have the strength in my legs to support my body weight. Sophie worked closely with me, beginning with exercises on my back to isolate and build strength in my legs. Step by step, we progressed to standing, and now I’m even able to perform single leg exercises, something I never thought possible. My balance has improved dramatically, and the benefits have gone far beyond just physical strength. Fluidform has played a huge role in improving my overall wellbeing and helping me achieve things I was once told I wouldn’t be able to do. I’m incredibly grateful for the support, expertise, and care I’ve received at Fluidform Bondi!

"Able to tackle almost anything"

Jeong at Fluidform Rosebery has really helped me with long term issues in my lower back and knee. I first joined with the goal of simply improving mobility. I had been dealing with a swollen / inflamed knee on-and-off for about a year, and assumed doing most active things impacting it would never be on the cards again. But through weekly sessions built the confidence and strength back up to be able to tackle almost anything. I'm now cycling, running, back at the gym and playing team sports again! As a newbie, the Studio Pilates classes are great as a first introduction to Pilates, and now are a great way to push me as my own pace requires.
