What’s Next in Wellness? A Morning with Fluidform and Nagnata

Fluidform joined Nagnata at 1 Hotel Melbourne for an intimate morning of conversation and movement. It was a thoughtful exploration of how wellness, beauty, and fashion intersect, and where they’re headed next. Kirsten spoke alongside leaders in results-based, clean skincare (Emma Lewisham), gut health (Carla Oates of The Beauty Chef) and innovative movement apparel (Laura May of Nagnata).

When the question was posed “what’s next in wellness?” answers shifted from trends, products, and quick transformations, to personalisation, inclusivity, self-love and patience.

1. Supportive Wellness: Beyond The One-Size-Fits-All Approach

There’s a growing recognition that everyone (and every body) needs something different. Not every workout needs to leave you drenched in sweat, and not every goal should be aesthetic. Movement is becoming less about looking a certain way and more about finding self-love, and building a relationship with your own body.

The Fluidform movement method focuses on connecting with our clients, individual bodies and needs both in the Studios and at home, with our prescriptive programming or online personalised programs. Movement is a personal journey, it’s not about programming for the masses, but about connecting with each person’s unique needs.

Wellness is personal.

2. Letting Go of the “Quick Fix” Mindset

We live in a culture that craves faster results, instant changes, overnight transformations. But wellness requires commitment and patience.

Whether it’s skincare, supplements, or movement practices, results come by surrendering to what we think we know, and committing to the journey. Education is essential to understand that real results come from consistency (not urgency). It’s about trusting the process.

3. Creating Safe Spaces for Trust and Inclusivity

Creating environments where people feel comfortable and supported is essential to seeing results and achieving change. When the body is tense or under stress, we cannot properly engage our muscles or develop a sense of awareness. control. We need to feel safe in order to build confidence and feel in control.

Fluidform fosters emotional safety, inclusivity, and care for people at every stage of life, from teens learning to feel confident in their bodies, to those navigating prenatal and postnatal journeys.

Wellness is shifting toward community, trust and care. Spaces where people can walk in as they are, and leave feeling like the best version of themselves. Wellness isn’t just about how you look or perform, it’s about how you feel.
