Paleo Granola Bowl



This crunchy granola pairs so well with creamy yoghurt and bursts of fresh fruit. A great snack option too!



4 cups mixed, unsalted nuts (such as almonds, cashews, Brazil, walnuts, macadamia, pecans, etc)

4 cups coconut flakes

1/2 cup buckwheat groats

1/3 cup chopped Medjool dates

3 tbsp coconut oil

3 tbsp pure maple syrup or raw honey

2 tsp cinnamon

To Serve (optional extras)

3/4 cup granola

3/4 cup Greek or coconut yoghurt

Seasonal fruit



  1. Preheat the oven to 160 C
  2. Melt the coconut oil and mix with the maple/honey
  3. In a large bowl, mix the nuts, coconut, buckwheat, chopped dates, cinnamon, melted coconut oil and maple/ honey until combined.
  4. Spread onto an oven tray (or two) lined with baking paper in an even layer.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes, turning half way. Store in an airtight container or jar for up to a month.


Dairy free/paleo: serve with coconut yoghurt

Vegan: serve with coconut yoghurt and use pure maple syrup
